Mortgage Loan Processor

MortgageDepot is currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to support our Pennsylvania branch.
Responsibilities
- Collect documentation and manage mortgage loan files from initial application until closing.
- Review client files for missing information, and take action as needed.
- Ensure that each client file complies with investor guidelines.
- Communicate with all involved parties to answer questions, troubleshoot issues and build mortgage loan files with necessary information.
- Enter new loan applications into MortgageDepot’s digital system.
- Order documentation required to build loan files, such as credit reports, appraisals, title reports and other verifications.
- Check loan file documentation for accuracy to promote a timely closing.
- Provide weekly status updates to involved parties.
- Conduct a quality control assessment on each completed file after closing.
- Utilize our mortgage broker digital platform to complete job-related tasks.
Qualifications
- At least one year of mortgage processing or underwriting experience.
- Adept at using Calyx Point mortgage loan software.
- In-depth knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and VA programs.
- Able to quickly and accurately complete clerical tasks.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful with a strong desire to find out-of-the-box solutions to problems.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
